Mato Yamni- Lakota for Three Bears is a Christian boy scout type programbased on Royal Ranger's,Grizzly Trail. Children need a relationship with God and need to learn that true Christian living isn't just about coming to church. By spending quality time with boys and girls teaching them skills such as tomahawk and knife throwing, camping and outdoor survival skills, we can teach them that serving Jesus is about everyday living, learning and making good choices. Children are taught that God and His Word are relevant to their every day lives. The Truth of God's Word empowers them for victory everyday. Oppression is not limited to adults. There are many instances in the Bible where Jesus delivered the oppressed children. The parents would bring them to Jesus for deliverance. Parents don't always bring their children to Jesus so as Christian leaders we are to bring them to him. As the children become rooted and grounded in a daily relationship with GOD and His Son, Jesus Christ freedom and deliverance from all oppression can come not only for them but also for their families, friends and neighbors. They can be shining lights in the darkness.
