We are really excited about our new kid’s sanctuary. Thanks to much effort by the Denver Lakota team our old gym was divided into two rooms giving us a new adult sanctuary and a fellowship hall.  Anyone who has ever taught children can understand the importance of a dedicated kid’s area.  Moving kid’s church to the old sanctuary gives us a large closed in area, which can be divided into two classrooms, also a kitchen and a storage area. The restrooms and a drinking fountain are directly across the hall.   God has put it up on our hearts to start feeding the kids after church on Sunday . We can cook or heat precooked meals during service and serve the children before they walk home.
The sound of Christmas is in the air as kids are heard singing the Christmas pageant songs and talking about who gets to be the kings or the shepherds, or Mary and Joseph.  These naturally very shy children are already asking if they can be the one to get in front of an audience of 300+ people and sing into a microphone.  God is doing wonderful things in the hearts and minds of these children. They are becoming more bold in their Christian walk and several have already felt God’s call into ministry. Please keep our All Stars for Jesus in your prayers.
Summer has come and gone and fall is in the air. The cooler days and nights brings (have brought?)  the kids back indoors for afterschool activities.  We have introduced a new program for both boys and girls  based on Rangers , “Grizzly Trail” curriculum. Because it is not “boys only” we will be calling it “Mato Yamni” (Lakota= Three Bears).  They will be learning about model building, camping, hiking, surviving in the outdoors, weapon safety, first aid, and open fire cooking.
Do you have a hollow emptiness in your soul? Do you look to people to fill needs in your life that only GOD can fill?Do you know what it is like to be truly loved? Christ gave His life for you. There is nothing like the Word of God to bring peace, strength and comfort.  Hopeless, lonely, fearful and empty.
Life without Jesus.  It is a blessing to us to know that we are part of God's plan to make a difference in the lives of His children, as we share a message of salvation, hope, comfort, peace, and joy. Our mission is to be a vessel by which the children here can come to know God through Jesus Christ. As they find peace and joy in Jesus, the light of the Gospel will spread into the deception Satan has used to keep this reservation in darkness for years. It will shine light into the lives of their parents, families and neighborhood.
The  Uncompromising Word of God is the only thing that  will break the bonds of hopelessness, fear and death
