Christ gave His life for you. There is nothing like the Word of God to bring peace, strength and comfort.  Hopeless, lonely, fearful and empty.
Life without Jesus.  It is a blessing to us to know that we are part of God's plan to make a difference in the lives of His children, as we share a message of salvation, hope, comfort, peace, and joy. Our mission is to be a vessel by which the children here can come to know God through Jesus Christ. As they find peace and joy in Jesus, the light of the Gospel will spread into the deception Satan has used to keep this reservation in darkness for years. It will shine light into the lives of their parents, families and neighborhood. The  Uncompromising Word of God is the only thing that  will break the bonds of hopelessness, fear and death . Father,
We pray you will make the children of Oglala fit for what you have called them to be, Fill their good ideas and acts of faith with your energy so that it all amounts to something great for your kingdom. We pray that their lives will honor the name of Jesus, that your amazing grace and peace will be with them. Father God, give them everything they need, make them everything they are to be.

II Timothy 3:15-17 "And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 THESS 10-12  "But on that very same day when he comes, he will be exalted by his followers and celebrated by all who believe—and all because you believed what we told you.  Because we know that this extraordinary day is just ahead, we pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what he's called you to be, pray that he'll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus, he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this, our God giving himself freely, the Master, Jesus Christ, giving himself freely". We want our "All Stars for Jesus"  to be excited about coming to church and learning about Jesus. We want them to build their faith, to learn to trust God and to know God is there for them. To learn, pray and apply scripture to their everyday lives. We have about  40 children who regularly attend either Wednesday, Sunday or both services. The majority of the children do not come with their parents. They walk in from the surrounding neighborhood.  To encourage them to attend reguIarly and to learn scripture we regularly plan outings and events. On March 20, we took 13 children to Chuck E Cheese for lots of fun and pizza. Six  of them learned the following memory verses for 10 extra tokens.  Phillipians 4:18 "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and of good report. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" and Colosians 3:15 " Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts". We believe when parents see their children excited about what God is doing in their lives, when God's peace rules their hearts and their thoughts are focused on God, the parents will want to know God also. Many of the children have used these scripture to eliminate nightmares.  God  is making them  wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
