1998- Our lives
completely changed when we met JESUS. In 2002, God called us into the mission field to work with the children and the elderly. After several trips to South Dakota delivering food, clothing, household goods and personal items to The Oglala Lakota Sioux on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, we felt God wanted us to be here full time. The Oglala ReCreation and Worship is a church, a community center, gym, food pantry, safe haven, a friend's house and more to the families and children of Oglala.
As the Leaders of the children's ministry we believe children need a relationship with God and need to be prepared for spiritual warfare. Children are taught that God and His Word are relevant to their every day lives. The Truth of God’s Word empowers them for victory everyday. Freedom and deliverance from all oppression can only come by being rooted and grounded in a relationship with GOD through salvation in HIS Son, Jesus Christ. Children learn to be "All Stars for Jesus" in an exciting, fun filled, faith building, action packed children's discipleship program. Spring is in the air and soon it will be time to get the tipis out. Terry is already wantiing to build a fire and roast hotdogs. We were able to purchase used tipi and new one. The kid's really enjoy sleeping in the tipis in the back yard. Several mission team members also slept out in the tipis last year.
As The Master's Hands we continue to meet the physical needs of the people as we minister to their Spiritual needs. We are considered independent or self employed missionaries, we fully trust in God to supply our need. Our work here does not stop to allow us to travel and raise funds. Please prayerfully consider how God can use you to support this work.
We are praying for a Great Awakening here on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. We are seeing God moves in the hearts and lives of the children and some of their families. As the children get excited about Jesus and we see the mighty hand of God working in the lives of the cildren, we are praying for moms & dads and all their family members to come to know the Lord.
